Broadband Connections in Hard to Reach Areas

Project Type: Fiber to the Home (FTTH)

Customer: Rural Telephone Co-op

Location: Wilbur, Indiana

Project Summary:

The Crossroads team dove right in on the Wilbur, IN project.  Working with an ISP to deploy FTTH in this small rural town consisting of approximately 230,000 feet of mainline and distribution design, CCS was more than equipped to hand the unique challenges of this build.  The difficult terrain and tight timelines demanded all hands on deck.  Utilizing experience and creativity the resulting network with more than 1500 passes was designed and a significant portion built and in service in less than 5 months.
