Bringing Broadband to Two Indiana Communities

Project Type: Fiber Design, Construction Management & Inspections

Customer: Rural Telephone Co-ops

Location: Western Indiana

Project Summary:

The Western Indiana projects include towns in Hendricks and Greene Counties as well as unincorporated areas.  Partnering with those towns as well as a local REMC, CCS’s client required a comprehensive and cost-effective fiber design to serve residential and commercial subscribers alike.  Again, relying on years of experience and state of the art GPS equipment, CCS was able to design and survey the routes, identifying and engineering out a majority of the obstacles and challenges in the construction phase.  Working closely with the customer’s inspectors and construction contractors, any revisions to the design were completed quickly and efficiently resulting in another rapid deployment.

At nearly 60 miles of aerial and underground design, our Project Management team rose to the challenge of organizing, coordinating and communicating keeping the project on schedule, on budget all while managing an ever-evolving scope of work to bring top tier broadband service to these rural areas.
